Contract of Austrian Airlines CEO extended
The supervisory board of Austrian Airlines recently unanimously re-appointed Alexis von Hoensbroech as CEO and chairman of the executive board of Austria’s national airline for another five years to 2026.
Von Hoensbroech has been Austrian Airlines CEO since August 2018, with his contract valid to July 2021. In addition to von Hoensbroech, the extended executive board of Austrian Airlines consists of Andreas Otto and Jens Ritter.
Chairwoman Christina Foerster said that von Hoensbroech and his management team have “led Austrian Airlines through the Covid-19 crisis with a steady hand. He has succeeded in building up a high level of trust with political decision-makers and with employees, and has laid the foundations for a good restart after the downturn." (amh)
