Continental recruits new leader for CVAM division
Gilles Mabire has been recruited as head of the commercial vehicles & aftermarket business unit (CVAM) at the technology company Continental, with effect from 1 April 2019. Mabire succeeds Michael Ruf.
CVAM, part of Continental’s interior division, develops products, solutions and services to meet the specific needs of the commercial vehicle and specialty vehicle market, as well as the passenger car aftermarket. In addition, the business unit’s portfolio includes solutions for intelligent transport systems.
Mabire, who has been on Continental’s payroll for more than ten years, studied electrical and mechanical engineering. He will contribute over 20 years of experience in various management positions in the automotive industry to his new position. Prior to this promotion, Mabire was responsible for all the technology company’s business in France. (mw)
