Container service for Russia's Far East
Ruscon will launch a new transport service through the Far East of Russia in partnership with RZD Logistics. The companies signed a cooperation agreement to this effect at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok this week.
The companies – both are part of Russian Delo Group - plan to set up a joint multimodal container service for the transportation of import and export cargo through Vladivostok's Pervomaisky seaport.
Ruscon is currently developing multimodal services through the group's own facilities in Russia’s Far East. This project will be an addition to the existing range of routes. The closer cooperation also will increase their presence in the region, the two companies said. (ben)
