Connecting Duisburg DIT terminal to Poland
With immediate effect, Hupac’s intermodal transport services to/from Poland now run to the Duisburg DIT terminal in addition to the Duisburg D3T terminal in Germany.
Containers and tank containers will be handled in Duisburg DIT, trailers on the other hand will be handled in Duisburg D3T, according to the Swiss intermodal operator.
The Duisburg DIT terminal is fully integrated into the Hupac network with direct train-to-train transhipment from/to Rotterdam and Antwerp, and a connection to the Polish terminals Gadki and Pruskow.
Hupac and its partner Metrans also use interoperable locomotives for swift border crossings. (ben)
