Complementing Mediterranean network
Carbox, a division of the Tarros Group, has opened its first location in Egypt, Carbox Egypt, in the port of Alexandria. The establishment of this office follows the model of the company's first Moroccan headquarters in Casablanca.
Silvano Maggi, Carbox managing director, thanked “our Egyptian partners and colleagues, Hany Abdel Rashid and Haitham Rashid, as well as the Carbox Italy team for its operational, technical and strategic support.”
Founded in 2000, Carbox offers overland transport container services to global carriers and freight forwarders. The Italian group, headquartered in the Italian port of La Spezia, is thus consolidating its network in North Africa. (cd)
