Codognotto kicks off Dubai air cargo service
Following the inauguration of its new UAE hub, the Codognotto Group has launched weekly air consolidation services between Dubai and Milan. The new offering, which has been in operation since mid-April, enables customers to ship goods at fixed rates between Italy and the UAE.
Off the back of a 40.1% growth in export activity in 2023 compared to 2022, Codognotto is looking to respond to increasing demand for air cargo solutions between Dubai and Europe. This growth is largely driven by the electrical equipment and household appliances markets.
With its recently opened base in Dubai (see ITJ Daily of 29 February 2024), which also acts as a certified Iata agent, the company can leverage its presence in the region to provide air cargo and consolidation services. (mk)
