CMA CGM updates WAX service
CMA CHM has decided to modify its service between West Africa and Asia as of the beginning of October 2020. The carrier said in a press release that it wants to "enhance service quality and reliability in Cameroon."
The WAX service will be changed as follows: Kribi, Cameroon direct weekly and fixed-day port call is added in the port coverage. The new rotation will be: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Nansha – Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Kribi – Cotonou – Abidjan – Tin Can Lagos – Lome – Colombo – Singapore – Shanghai.
Transit times to Kribi from Shanghai will be 33 days, from Ningbo 32 days and from Nansha 28 days. On the spot, multimodal solutions are offered for connections to Douala Door/Ramp, North Cameroon, the Chad and the Central African Republic. The first vessel on the new rotation will be the MV “Navios Nerine” starting in Shanghai on October, 2, arriving in Kribi on 3 November. (mw)
