CMA CGM orders, Lufthansa Cargo gets two B777F
CMA CGM Group has placed the first direct order for its air freight division launched earlier this year. The global shipping and logistics group announced the purchase of two new Boeing 777 Freighters.
It will give CMA CGM Air Cargo the flexibility to operate the airplane across its growing air freight network while helping to deliver on its sustainability objectives as the CMA CGM Group pursues its commitment to offer its customers a complete range of logistics solutions.
Meanwhile, Lufthansa Cargo's fleet has grown by two B777F, bringing its size to eleven B777F. Also, the active service of Lufthansa Group's last remaining tri-jet– and the last MD-11 aircraft registered in Europe – will come to an end with its last landing at Frankfurt Airport on high noon on 15 October 2021.
