Circle participating in European project Easylog
Circle, a specialist for analysing and developing automation and digitalization solutions for the port sectors and intermodal logistics, is participating in the European project Easylog, funded to the tune of almost EUR 2 million (EUR 1.7 million from the European Regional Development Fund ERDF). The company has already received its first Easylog assignment, worth some EUR 81,800.
Easylog aims to facilitate the intermodal movement of goods between cross-border regions by using ICT technologies to improve accessibility to port nodes. In the project, Circle is involved in the development of the technical field together with the Italian Center of Excellence on Logistics Transport and Infrastructures.
Thanks to its long experience in the development of innovative technological systems, Circle is part of the European project for the automation of the ro-ro gates at the ports of Savona, Livorno, Portoferraio, Olbia and Bastia. These Italian ports will be used to test the new developments. (mw)
