Christos Spyrou joins Tiaca’s board of directors
Nominated at Tiaca’s most recent board meeting at the opening of the executive summit in Budapest, Christos Spyrou, CEO and founder of Neutral Air Partner (NAP), has joined the association's board of directors, which will next meet in Istanbul following the world cargo symposium.
At the end of 2019, Tiaca announced the creation of a new membership category to allow small companies and start-ups to become Tiaca members at a rate designed to reflect their size and financial capacity. Alongside this, the partnership concluded with Neutral Air Partner allowed NAP’s 250 members to automatically become Tiaca members.
Spyrou’s appointment forms part of this expansion and modernisation drive. He brings 30 years of experience in the air freight industry. Both an entrepreneur and an expert in the sector, his specialist areas include advanced air freight consolidation management, neutral air freight wholesale, ULD utilisation and equalisation, gateway planning, networking and selling & sourcing for air freight brokers and forwarders.
