Chipolbok's "Paderewski" makes a maiden call
After taking on board a portion of project and break bulk cargo, including a gas turbine of 330 t unit weight, in Hamburg (Germany), the “M/V Paderewski” proceeded to Emden for its maiden call. The plan was to make a quick stop to load 38 packages weighing a total of 538 t and amounting to roughly 3,400 FRT of wind power equipment supplied from a local producer bound for Masan in South Korea. The maximum parameters of this cargo are 22 t of unit weight and a length of 40.60 m.
The Japanese logistics providers responsible for the project were present during the entire duration of the loading operations. Within 36 hours, loading and lashing was done, so that the vessel could depart early the next morning on its journey to the first transit port in Suez for passing through the canal.
After that, the vessel is scheduled to call at Mumbai (India), Singapore, Kaohsiung and Shanghai (China) and expected to arrive at Masan at the end of September. Then it will continue its journey to the ports of Yantai and Dalian in China. (cd)
