China train adds more destinations in Asia to its network
The Iata freight forwarder Quick-Cargo Service (QCS), which is headquartered in Germany, is expanding its two key segments air and sea freight and extending the railfreight services it has been offering to China since 2008.
The company will add destinations in Japan, South Korea and Vietnam to its Germany-China network. According to QCS, the China train is increasingly developing into a valuable alternative to classic air and sea/air transports thanks to its attractive delivery times of between 16 and 19 days and the steadily improving service.
The company generates 40% of its turnover with transports from China and 34% with services to China. (ben)
