Charles Menkhorst named CEO of Gulftainer
Sharjah (UAE)-based port operator Gulftainer, a privately-owned subsidiary of Crescent Enterprises, has promoted Charles Menkhorst to the role of CEO.
With over 25 years of experience in the international maritime industry, Menkhorst will take Peter Richards's place, the previous CEO of Gulftainer. He has worked in key roles for DHL Worldwide Express and APM Terminals and also was Group CEO at Luxemburg-based ports infrastructure group Euroports.
Menkhorst will be tasked to supervise the strategic growth of the company, basically in the UAE and across Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the USA.
