Chapman Freeborn appoints IMEA regional director
Global air charter specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group, Chapman Freeborn has appointed aviation expert Sharon Vaz-Arab as director, India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA). She will be based in the company’s office in Dubai and work closely with Neil Dursley, Chapman Freeborn’s CCO.
Vaz-Arab: “As we emerge from this crisis, I am excited to be part of the Chapman Freeborn team and work towards building our network in the IMEA region.”
Vaz-Arab joins from Cargolux Airlines, where she spent 26 years, beginning in sales and most recently progressing to director of Middle East and Indian operations. During her career, she has also worked at the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, in global accounts.
As explained in a press release, “a big source of career inspiration for Vaz-Arab is the story of Russi Batliwala, who started as a trainee broker before rising to become Chapman Freeborn group chairman.” (amh)
