Changes to Noura service
The Marseille-based shipping line CMA CGM is enhancing its Noura service, which links the Indian Subcontinent, the Persian Gulf, East Africa and the Indian Ocean. Calls at the port of Nacala will now be offered on a weekly basis, as well as fortnightly calls at Berbera.
The service, fully operated by CMA CGM, will see six 1,700 teu vessels deployed. Its port rotation will see it set off from Colombo and proceed to Jebel Ali, Berbera (1/2), Mogadishu, Beira (1/2), Nacala and Port Victoria before returning to Colombo.
The service will commence with the sailing of the ‘CMA CGM Suez’, with its ETA in Colombo set for 19 December. The transit time from Jebel Ali to Mogadishu will be six days. (sh)
