Changes in the board of directors
Thomas Staehelin, whose mandate as a member of the board of directors at Kuehne + Nagel ends with the AGM on 5 May 2020 after 42 years of service, will no longer stand for re-election.
At the same time, Dominik Bürgy will be proposed for election to the company's board of directors. Bürgy is a graduated tax expert and partner at Wenger & Vieli, attorneys-at-law. He holds a law degree from the University of Bern. He is a Swiss citizen.
Jörg Wolle, chairman of the board of directors, Kuehne + Nagel International, says: "On behalf of the board, I would like to cordially thank Dr Staehelin for his extremely successful, long-standing and very valuable contribution to the board of directors and as a chairman of the audit committee of Kuehne + Nagel International. Bürgy has a profound knowledge of economics and a well-connected network. We are very glad that he has been proposed for election to the board of directors." (mw)
