Changes at the Ports of Auckland
Bill Osborne, chairman of the board at the Ports of Auckland, has decided to retire at the end of September.
“The business now has as clear plan for the safety at the port, and for the completion of its automation project,” he said. The former rugby player wants to pave the way for a new leadership: "New directors can be appointed, a new chair elected, and momentum maintained within the business.”
Osborne was appointed to the Ports of Auckland board in May 2017. He is a professional director, chairs Page & Macrae and is on the board of Transpower. He is also the president of New Zealand Rugby. (cd)
