Changes at the helm of TAM Americas
TAM Group, a leading GSA/GSSA in Asia and the Americas, has announced several senior-level appointments (pictured fltr), coinciding with the opening of new offices in North and South America.
Fernando Garreton has been promoted to VP Americas to lead the group’s foray into North, Central and South America. Garreton joined TAM Group in 2016 and won the “best executive of the year” award in the Latam Cargo Group in 2012.
Alejandro Inga has been appointed as AVP Americas. He was named “executive of the year” at Latam Cargo in 2016, having led a number of key merger projects.
Diego Burgo joined TAM Group in mid-2022 as sales manager to head commercial activities in the US Midwest and Texas. He brings in his 20-plus years of airfreight experience.
René Weinberg, now general manager Brazil, joined the group in 2022. He won the Saudia Cargo award of excellence in 2018. (cj)
