Changes at the helm of GLS
Effective immediately, Martin Seidenberg assumes the position of CEO of the GLS Group. The native German brings more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry.
He replaces James Rietkerk, who has stepped down. Rietkerk led the GLS for two years and made the CEP provider into a successful division within the parent group Royal Mail.
Seidenberg joined the management board of GLS Germany at the beginning of 2015 and became its chairman. Under his leadership, the GLS Group’s largest country branch was able to strengthen its long-term position in the German parcel market and grow continuously.
Karl Pfaff will succeed Seidenberg as chairman of GLS Germany’s management board with immediate effect. Pfaff began his career at GLS in 2014 as director strategic development. Later he took over responsibility for sales development and since 2018 he has been in charge of Region North. (mw)
