C.H. Robinson increased revenues to USD 16.6 billion

C.H. Robinson Worldwide reported financial results for the quarter and fiscal year ending 31 December 2018. Total revenues increased 11.8% to USD 16.6 billion, driven by growth across all transportation service lines. Income from operations totalled USD 912.1 million, up 17.7% from last year due primarily to growth in Nast (North American surface transportation) and Robinson Fresh, partially offset by a decline in all other and corporate. The 33.7% operating margin increased 100 basis points.

“This year, we will focus on growth, operating margin expansion and continue to invest in technology,” said CEO John Wiehoff. “A critical part of our strategy is to add value for our customers and carriers and expand business, regardless of where we are in the freight cycle. I am confident that we have the right people, processes and technology to continue to win in the marketplace.” (mw)
