Ceva Logistics narrows losses
In its consolidated results for 2020, Ceva Logistics, the logistics arm of CMA CGM, shows an 4.1% increase in revenue to USD 7.4 billion and an operating income of USD 135.0 million, four times more than the USD 31 million in the prior year.
Losses for the period narrowed to USD 76 million, from USD 166 million in 2019. While freight management revenues from external customers went up by 14.1% to USD 4 billion, air freight revenues climbed by an impressive 38.1% to USD 1.8 billion and ocean freight revenues surged by 12.9% to USD 1.2 billion. Nevertheless, Contract Logistics revenues declined 5.8% in 2020, to USD 3.4 billion. (sh)
