Ceva: China–Chicago

Ceva Logistics has launched a new air charter route linking Wuxi (WUX), China, and Chicago (ORD, USA), with three weekly freighter flights. The service supports trans-Pacific trade for the high-tech, industrial and e-commerce sectors. The first flight departed Wuxi on 28 March, carrying more than 100 t of cargo.

The charter is part of a partnership with Wuxi Sunan Shuofang airport and offers consolidation options in the Yangtze River Delta. Ceva’s Chicago airfreight hub, located 15 km from ORD, features cold storage, FTZ access and full screening services. A robust US ground network enables final delivery within 24-48 hours. Connections to Southeast Asia are also available via multimodal services.

"This new trans-Pacific charter underscores our commitment to securing the right capacity on the right lanes to meet our customers’ evolving needs," said Loïc Gay, global air product leader at Ceva. (ah)
