Centerpoint buys hub in Texas
Center Point Properties has acquired a 56,000 sgm warehouse and office building at 3507 Pasadena Freeway in Pasadena, Texas, from Link Logistics Real Estate.
The company highlights the complex's portfolio of connections with the combination of rail service by Union Pacific, BNSF and Kansas City Southern via the Port Terminal Railroad Association (PTRA), rail car capacity, outdoor storage space and strategic port and highway access.
The close Pasadena Freeway property is less than 32 km from downtown Houston. Amongst others, the building has six rail spurs giving it rail car storage capacity.
The regional Port of Houston is the USA's sixth-largest container port. Center Point is currently expanding its range of warehouses close to major US sea ports. (sh)
