CenterPoint appoints EVP for Central Region
CenterPoint Properties has named Jeff Thornton executive vice-president of its Central Region. Thornton brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate and most recently served as president of Ryan Companies’ South Central Region. He previously spent over two decades at Duke Realty, overseeing a 2.8 million sq m portfolio in Dallas, Houston, and St. Louis.
Thornton will lead all operations and strategic initiatives for CenterPoint’s Central Region, which includes 83 properties totalling nearly 2.2 million sq m from Chicago to Austin. CEO Bob Chapman and COO Jim Clewlow praised Thornton’s industry insight and innovation-driven approach. Thornton said he’s excited to work with a top-tier team to drive value across the portfolio and expand CenterPoint’s presence, particularly in Texas. (ah)
