CenterPoint announces change of CEO
Bob Chapman, CEO of CenterPoint Properties, has announced his retirement on 1 July.
After over a decade at the helm Chapman led the company’s expansion into strategic markets and positioned it for continued growth. As part of CenterPoint’s succession plan, Jim Clewlow (pictured), currently the chief operating officer, will assume the role of CEO. Clewlow, who’s been with the company for nearly 30 years, previously served as chief investment officer for 18 years before becoming COO in 2023.
“It’s been an incredible journey leading CenterPoint,” Chapman said, adding that he’s “confident that the company will continue to thrive under Jim’s leadership.” Clewlow added that he’s "looking forward to building on the strong foundation Bob has established and leading CenterPoint into its next chapter.” (ah)
