Cars travel by train
The Lithuanian carrier LTG Cargo has completed the first project shipment of Skoda Auto passenger cars from Czechia to Kaunas, Lithuania, entirely on standard gauge tracks. A train consisting of 22 double-deck car carrier wagons delivered 220 new passenger cars for the Baltic market.
The rail transport in Czechia was carried out by the partner CD Cargo, while the distribution of vehicles from the terminal in Palemonas (Kaunas, Lithuania) to the final locations in the Baltic countries was handled by the Lithuanian company AV Terminal.
From the Czech border to Mockava, the project cargo was transported via Poland by LTG Cargo’s Polish subsidiary. (ben)
