Caring for pets travelling to Europe

Two days ago, on the "international dog day" celebrated on 26 August, Westjet Cargo announced the expansion of its pet transport services to three major European airports: London Gatwick (LGW), London Heathrow (LHR), and Edinburgh (EDI).

Strictly adhering to Iata's live animals regulations, the Canadian carrier's pet transport service is tailored to meet the specific needs of all animals, including brachycephalic breeds, which require special attention during air travel.

In addition to the new routes, Westjet Cargo has been operating year-round pet transports to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) since this year. In response to continued strong demand, some of the routes scheduled to pause later this year will resume next year. (ah)
