Cargobeamer chooses Alexander Kornblum
Cargobeamer has appointed Alexander Kornblum as new managing director of Cargobeamer intermodal operations. The German logistics services provider facilitates rail transport for non-craneable semi-trailers.
Kornblum will oversee sales, demand planning, pricing, customer relations and strategic business development. He succeeds Matthias Schadler, who is leaving the company.
After holding several positions in the European and American aviation industry, Kornblum led the launch of a nationwide long-distance bus network in USA as head of pricing and yield management at Flix (formerly Flixmobility) from 2018 to 2020. As senior programme manager and head of EU Rail, he was most recently responsible for developing Amazon’s European rail transport network. (cj)
