Cargo partners continue cooperation in Zurich
Swiss World Cargo and Cargologic have agreed to continue their long-standing partnership for another seven years. The partnership will see the airfreight division of Swiss International Air Lines continue to use Cargologic’s airfreight handling competencies at its hub in Zurich, where the Rhenus Group member, which processes 440,000 t of goods a year in Zurich, Basel, Berne and Lugano, will maintain its position as dedicated ground handler.
According to Swiss World Cargo’s head of quality and services Christian Wyss, the main reasons for the extension are the reliability as well as quality of services offered by Cargologic. For Cargologic managing director Marco Gredig, it "is a clear reaffirmation of the Zurich Airport location and makes a substantial contribution to its future growth". (ah)
