Cargo-Partner doubles capacities in Slovakia
Cargo-Partner is doubling its capacities in the iLogistics Centre in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia from 27,600 to 50,000 pallet spaces.
The site is directly connected to the Metrans rail terminal so that goods from the ports of Hamburg, Rotterdam and Istanbul can be transported directly to the centre by rail. Cargo-Partner has been operating in Slovakia for 30 years and now has more than 200 employees at four locations.
The upcoming construction of the third hall represents the final phase of the expansion programme and will increase the storage capacity in Dunajská Streda to 34,300 sqm.
To ensure an efficient use of energy, the pallet bays will be kept compact and 22 loading ramps and two entrance gates will be built to optimise loading and unloading operations. Commissioning is planned for Q4/2024. (mk)
