Car manufacturer chooses longest types of trucks
Seat has expanded the number of supply routes for the transport of components in Spain using the two longest types of trucks with the greatest capacity of all vehicles travelling on European roads. The manufacturer currently has two duo trailer routes for the delivery of interior finish parts and the transport of sheet metal components.
Seat also uses two giga trailers to carry metal bodywork components. The duo trailer features two 13.6 m long trailers pulled by a truck, with a total length of 31.7 m and a maximum payload capacity of 70 t.
The gigatrailer has a maximum payload capacity of 60 t. It consists of two trailers, one measuring 7.8 m and one 13.6 m, pulled by a truck, with a combined maximum payload of 60 t. (ben)
