Captrain divests subsidiaries

The Railroad Development Corporation (RDC) is expanding its infrastructure activities in northern Germany with the acquisition of Teutoburger Wald Eisenbahn and Farge-Vegesacker Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft from Captrain Deutschland, effective on 1 November 2024. This will make RDC one of the largest private owners and operators of railway infrastructure covering a route length of around 100 km.

By selling these two subsidiaries, Captrain plans to focus more on rail logistics, its core business. The deal also includes the sale of three workshop halls to the RDC Deutschland Group.

Captrain offers international traction, factory rail operations and customised transport solutions. (ben)
