Capacity for 200 LNG trucks per day
The German transport company Elflein has joined forces with Shell and BMW to open another LNG filling station in Rosenhof (Germany). For Elflein this expansion of the LNG network is another step towards decarbonisation.
Together with BMW, Elflein is going a step further and has already negotiated certification for the purchase of 100 t of bio LNG. These 100 t will enable the company to supply approximately four LNG vehicles with fuel for one year, saving 400 t of CO2.
In comparison, the new Shell LNG filling station, which has a capacity of about 30 t, can refuel about 200 LNG trucks a day at its two pumps. (ben)
