Canadian railway moves closer to China
Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) is building closer ties with its customers in China following the launch of its Chinese language website. The website is part of a broader outreach program in China and across Asia to ensure that customers have access to up-to-date information, particularly during the challenges of the last 18 months. China is one of the railway’s biggest markets. The direct channel will enhance communications and support CP’s team in China. The company is offering a suite of freight transportation services, logistics solutions and supply chain expertise. With it’s focus on the Asia region, CP has extended its footprint with marketing offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo and Singapore, the rail company said. (ben) www.cpr.ca
