Bywater in UK boosts fleet capacity

The Dover-based haulier has acquired five new vehicles for its fleet.

The new units will be used to replace some older vehicles and augment the fleet. This gives the company increased capacity to handle to handle higher freight volumes.

Three new Volvo FL rigids will be used for collections and deliveries as part of the company’s operation for Pall-Ex/Fortec’s pallet network in the Dover area. The two Mercedes Actros tractor units will primarily be used to complete nightly runs from the Dover depot to the Pall-Ex hub in Leicestershire. Bywater owns now total 30 LGV’s and four vans. (ben)
