Bulk logistician banking on special tanks
Germany-headquartered Hoyer is planning renew its fleet of tank containers with 3,000 tanks by the end of 2023. With this update, the company is responding to a rise in demand for specialist equipment for European road and intermodal services as well as overseas logistics in particular.
The new tank containers are being produced by manufacturers in South Africa and China. The delivery includes special tanks for chemicals as well as tanks with specifications for foodstuff products.
The new tanks can be used in versatile ways and enable the safe and efficient transport of a wide range of liquid goods. They will also help the group to increase its flexibility, Hoyer said. (ben)
