Building a medical logistics hub in Kenya
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and MOL Logistics (MLG) have partnered with Revital Healthcare, a Kenyan medical supplies manufacturer, to create a healthcare logistics centre in Mombasa's special economic zone.
The alliance will consolidate and improve the distribution of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals from Revital and other sources in Africa. The centre will address Africa's healthcare logistics challenges, leveraging MOL's global network and logistics expertise and Revital's medical manufacturing capabilities.
With this strategic partnership, MOL says it aims to enhance healthcare standards in Africa, as part of its commitment to solving regional healthcare and logistical issues. (pb)
