Building a base at Bremerhaven
Lineage, an industrial real estate investment trust, is planning to strengthen its network in Germany and expand its cold chain with a new facility in Bremerhaven's fishing harbour. Work on the new site, which is expected to cover 19,000 sqm, has already begun.
The location offers quick access to the fishing harbour, the quay, and the nearby food industry. Lineage says that the facility will specialise in the frozen food sector and will therefore be suitable for food storage. Completion is planned for December 2024. Lineage can thus add another hub to a global network of over 450 facilities and establish a strong presence in Germany. (mk)
