Bucharest is Sennder's newest location
Digital forwarder Sennder is entering the Romanian market and opening a new branch in the country’s capital Bucharest. Bogdan-Gabriel Steliean has been appointed to manage the company’s operations in the country. With a total of eleven branches in Europe, the player is planning to further consolidate its network of transport companies.
With the existing branches in Wroclaw (Poland), founded in September 2019, and Riga (Latvia), founded in May 2020, the new location in Romania complements Sennder's growing market presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
With more than 90,000 drivers and 25,000 transport companies, Romania is one of the fastest developing logistics markets in Europe. "Our vision is to use technology to enable more efficient and transparent road logistics in a complex and difficult to predict market environment," COO Tom Christenson explained in an interview with the ITJ.
