BTK doubles its capacities
BTK is expanding its logistics areas at its location in Raubling (Bavaria, Germany). In the middle of July 2019 and after nine months construction period, the general contractor Goldbeck will hand over the multi-user hall to BTK on schedule. The new facility is 10 m high and covers an area of 5,500 sqm. As from September 2019, about 6,500 pallet slots and around 1,200 sqm for logistics services will become available for existing customers and new clients.
The extension in Raubling doubles BTK‘s cargo handling facilities in this location to 11,000 sqm. It is the fifth logistics hub in the Rosenheim region. In total, the company offers room for individual logistics concepts with semi-automatic fulfilment services on an area of 19,000 sqm.
BTK’s CEO Josef Heiss says: “We have been investing in contract logistics as a second mainstay for about five years, and we have been very successful. We expect new and existing customers to benefit from our expanded capacities.” (mw)
