BSNF: only 3.2 km to go
The US class I railways BNSF has completed the construction of a new section of double track in Texas (USA) along its Fort Worth subdivision which connects the Texas-Oklahoma border and Temple, Texas.
Part of a multi-year project, the 5.6 km double track stretch is located in the Saginaw area (TX) and creates additional capacity, opening up more growth opportunities and improving the efficiency of BNSF’s vast network, the railway said on X.
Once the entire project is complete - only about 3.2 km to go - BNSF will have two main tracks all the way from Lambert (north of Alliance) in Mississippi to Tower 55 in Texas, one of the busiest intersections in the USA. (ben)
