Brussels and Montevideo set up pharma lane

To continue to share know-how and best practices and to develop new pharma certified lanes, Brussels airport and the MVD free airport of Montevideo have signed a memorandum of understanding that formalises their relationship of friendship and cooperation.

Given that both international airports have similar aspirations for the accommodation of passengers and cargo and since they both operate as air cargo hubs of regional importance, they are in full agreement as to the challenges that global pharma distribution is facing.

They have worked on several initiatives including the launching of a GDP compliant route between Brussels and Montevideo to facilitate regional distribution to Brazil, Argentina and the rest of South America via Uruguay. (ah)
