Brussels airport aviation awards
The Brussels Airport Company has continued its annual tradition with the ‘Brussels Airport Aviation Awards’.
There are two awards dedicated to the cargo segment. This year the ‘Brucargo Award’ went to the handling company Dnata, which has proven to be a stable handling partner for Qatar Airways and a leading contributor to innovative projects in the Brussels cargo community. In the past year it has obtained two Iata CEIV certifications, for pharmaceuticals and live animals.
The ‘Logistic Provider Award’ went to DSV, which registered growth in 2021 and showed a strong commitment to perishables and the transport of live animals, next to its usual general cargo activities.
It also introduced new charter flights and contributed to developing the transport of pharmaceuticals and perishables at Brussels airport. (cj)
