Broekman Logistics concludes VLS-Group integration
Broekman Logistics has set a milestone in the integration process of the former VLS-Group. As from 2 April, the ex VLS location in Rotterdam-Pernis (Netherlands) and its five Antwerp (Belgium) facilities began to operate under Broekman's flag.
The value-added logistics activities, including the filling of specialty chemicals, and the specialised warehouses in Pernis and Antwerp, will now be carried out under the names of Broekman Logistics Pernis and Broekman Logistics Belgium Antwerp.
Willem Jan van Amersfoort, Broekman's managing director warehousing & distribution, declared: “With these activities in Antwerp, and our recently opened newly-built facilities in Venlo and Rotterdam Maasvlakte, we can lighten the burden of our specialty chemical clients in Europe's three main logistics hotspots - namely the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam and the Limburg area (Netherlands).” (mw)
