Broekman and Liebherr form partnership
Liebherr Logistics is expanding its international footprint by partnering with Broekman Logistics to set up its first new location in the Netherlands. The intra-group logistics service provider currently supplies 70 sales companies and their global customers with spare parts from twelve Liebherr production companies.
To complement the 46,000 sqm automated logistics centre at its headquarters in southern Germany, Liebherr will add Broekman Logistics in Rotterdam to its supply chain in Western Europe via its facilities in Born, Limburg.
The agreement covers customs clearance, warehousing, picking and packing of Liebherr spare parts. In the second phase, the partnership will be extended to kitting of products and sea & airfreight activities. (sh)
