Braving the Benelux market
Duvenbeck is to take over Netherlands-based Schotpoort Logistics. The transport and logistics company is headquartered in Germany but has made several expansions into European markets. Next up is Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).
With the acquisition of Schotpoort, a family-owned logistics provider from Eerbeek, Duvenbeck gains 70,000 sqm of warehousing space, a fleet of 120 units, and customers in the packaging, consumer goods and solar industries.
Schotpoort’s network will also act as a gateway for Duvenbeck into the local market and beyond. “Thanks to its proximity to the seaports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp, Schotpoort Logistics will enable us to expand our import and export logistics activities and tap into additional customer sectors in the Far East and Europe," says Hakan Bicil, CEO of Duvenbeck (mk)
