Branded loco for Klade Group
Austrian railfreight company Frachtbahn has leased a new locomotive from ELL Austria. It will handle timber transports for the Klade Group, primarily between Germany and Romania.
The family-owned company moves about 1.5 million t of timber annually. For Klade's transports, the rented Siemens Vectron was christened "Josef" and painted in Klade's corporate colours.
Frachtbahn is Austria's youngest player in the European railfreight sector. It was founded in October 2019 and has since been transporting goods between Austria, Germany and Hungary. (ben)
