BPost Group with leadership changes
Thomas Schmitt (pictured) was appointed CEO of Radial North America with effect from 17 March. He’ll report to BPost Group CEO Chris Peeters and lead Radial’s management committee. Schmitt, a Harvard MBA graduate, has held leadership roles at FedEx, Purolator, DB Schenker and Forward Air, where he tripled market value during the outbreak of Covid-19.
“We thank Craig Simon for his leadership and welcome Thomas Schmitt, whose expertise will drive Radial’s diversification and efficiency,” said Peeters, who’ll additionally assume the role of CEO BeNe Last Mile from 1 May, as Jos Donvil is shifting his focus to overseeing subsidiaries Dyna, Speos and AMP as well as new media distribution contracts.
