Pelicargo has launched its air freight sourcing solution which, in addition to the tech and services start-up spun out of MIT in 2021, "radically simplifies the air freight sourcing process by matching airlines and freight forwarders with the right cargo at the right time."
With a concierge team of air freight experts, its technology actively shops and secures rates, matches capacity and routes and fills flights.
Jon Acquaviva, co-founder (with Shinji Angata and Edward Wang, who bring decades of experience in air freight, international logistics and AI): "Forwarders get more resources, a simpler and more intelligent sourcing experience and easy access to the best deals available to them. Our top users increased quoting by 88% and expanded revenue by 49% within a single quarter." (ah)
