Boris Lukic now CEO Switzerland of the M+R Spedag Group
Boris Lukic has been appointed CEO Switzerland of the M+R Spedag Group. Over the last five years, Lukic has been a member of the executive board and head of the company’s overseas departments in Switzerland. As CEO, he assumes responsibility for transports within Europe as well as customs clearance, the company’s largest division.
Lukic has been in the company for just over 20 years, starting as an apprentice and working up through the ranks to the top management of the Swiss office.
But the group generates its highest rate of growth outside Europe. For owner and president Daniel Richner expanding the company’s presence in Asia and Africa, East Asia and India is the top priority. The group’s largest market share is in East Africa, where it has become a market leader after a major takeover. (mw)
